Lighting Upgrade in a Live Aircraft Maintenance Facility
Keece QLD has successfully completed a major lighting upgrade within a live aircraft maintenance hangar, delivering a significant improvement in visibility, safety and energy performance.

Led on site by Justin Tedeschi, the Keece QLD team delivered the lighting changeover smoothly and efficiently while maintaining minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
Working inside a live hangar required strong planning, clear communication and adaptability. The team managed each stage carefully to support access requirements, safety controls and daily changes within the work environment.

KEY CHALLENGES
The team delivered the works in a complex aircraft maintenance environment, which required precision and flexibility at every stage.
Key challenges included:
- Working around daily changes to access and work areas
- Installing 25kg light fittings at heights of up to 27 metres
- Managing long cable runs through high-level conduit and cable tray systems
