BSW 2026 | Bringing Our People Together to Grow as One Keece
From 20–23 August 2026, Keece Group held the 5th edition of our annual Budget & Strategy Workshop (BSW) in Port Douglas, Queensland, bringing together our teams from across Australia and New Zealand for four days of connection, learning and strategic alignment.
The workshop brought together Estimators, Project Managers, Contract Administrators, leadership and our wider office teams from across the Group. With our people spread across different states, countries, Business Units and projects, BSW provides an important opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, put faces to names, build stronger connections and spend valuable time together as One Keece.
More Than 950 Years of Experience in One Room
Together, the people in the room represented more than 950 years of combined industry experience creating an incredible opportunity to share ideas, knowledge, challenges and lessons learned.
From estimating and commercial management through to project delivery, operations and support functions, everyone brings different experiences and perspectives. Bringing that knowledge together allows our teams to learn from each other and take those learnings back to their own Business Units and teams.
DEVELOPING OUR PEOPLE AS WE GROW
As Keece continues to grow across Australia and New Zealand, maintaining quality, consistency and strong standards across every Business Unit remains a priority.
An important focus of BSW 2026 was continuing to develop the people skills that support sustainable growth strengthening communication, collaboration and leadership, while ensuring the Keece values and Keece way of working continue to be shared across our Business Units, offices and teams on site.
Growth is not simply about becoming bigger. It is about growing well, keeping our people connected, sharing knowledge, maintaining our standards and continuing to strengthen the culture that has shaped Keece.
