Keece Celebrates Industry Recognition at the 2026 NECA Awards
It has been a proud few weeks for Keece, with project excellence and emerging talent recognised across the 2026 NECA Awards in Victoria and South Australia.
From Lily Strachan’s Women in Energy finalist recognition in Victoria, to Charlie Lyons representing Keece SA as an Apprentice of the Year finalist, and Tiffany & Co. – Burnside Village receiving a Commendation Certificate, the recognition reflects both the people behind Keece and the quality of work being delivered across the business
Lily Strachan | Women in Energy Finalist
On 29 August, the NECA Victorian Excellence Awards brought together the electrical and communications industry at the Palladium at Crown.
Keece VIC Contracts Administrator Lily Strachan was nominated and named a finalist in the Women in Energy category, with members of the Keece Project Management team there to support her on the night.
While Lily didn’t take home the award, being recognised among the finalists represents an important milestone in her career and acknowledges her dedication, development and contribution to Keece and the wider industry.
Charlie Lyons | Apprentice of the Year Finalist
The recognition continued in South Australia on 11 September at the 2026 NECA SA Excellence Awards, where Charlie Lyons, Keece SA’s 4th Year Apprentice, represented Keece as an Apprentice of the Year finalist.
Charlie has continued to develop his technical skills and take on greater responsibility across a diverse range of Keece SA projects.
Being selected as a finalist is a significant achievement and recognition of the commitment Charlie has shown throughout his apprenticeship, as well as the support and knowledge shared by the team around him.
Tiffany & Co. Burnside Village | NECA Commendation
The night also brought project recognition for Keece SA, with Tiffany & Co. – Burnside Village receiving a Commendation Certificate in the Commercial Projects – X-Small category.
Delivered in partnership with PQI Group, the project involved a detailed electrical fit-out within a high-end luxury retail environment, including power, data, lighting and lighting controls, along with complex façade lighting works.
Working within a live retail environment and delivering to the presentation standards expected of a global luxury brand required careful planning, precision and coordination from the entire project team.
The NECA Commendation is a valuable industry recognition of the quality of the finished project and the collective effort behind its delivery.
