Silica Dust training delivered across the Keece Team

In line with the new Code of practice for silica dust being released in QLD on 1st May 2023, and with more changes road mapped by Safe Work Australia, Keece implemented significant changes to keep our electrical contracting team safe onsite founded around our internally developed silica dust training program.

  • In addition to our employee awareness training, the training highlights;
  • Changes to our Safe Work Method Statements
  • New PPE and engineering controls implemented
  • What to keep an eye out for in managing this risk.
As this is an industry-wide issue, we invite others to use our training material as their base for their own risk management, awareness and response to the risks involved in working with Silica Dust in the construction environment.
