New Keece Plug-In Hybrid Ford Wildtrak joining the national sustainable fleet program

Keece is expanding its sustainable fleet, welcoming new Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) Ford Wildtraks into operations across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.

With more than 100 vehicles operating across Australia and New Zealand, fleet decisions play an important role in reducing our environmental impact. Therefore, this initiative marks a practical step toward more responsible and efficient business operations.

Across Australia, hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles continue to gain momentum. In 2025, plug-in hybrid vehicle sales more than doubled to 53,484 units, increasing 130.9% compared with 2024. Hybrid vehicle sales also reached 199,133 units, rising 15.3% year-on-year. According to the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI), hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles continue to play a growing role in Australia’s transition toward lower-emission transport solutions.

Supporting Smarter Fleet Choices

As our national footprint continues to grow, we are focused on practical initiatives that support better environmental outcomes across the business. Introducing PHEV vehicles into our fleet is one step in a broader plan to explore hybrid and sustainable vehicle solutions across future operations.

A Step Forward for Our Business and the Environment

This initiative reflects Keece’s ongoing focus on continuous improvement, responsible decision-making and long-term sustainability. A strong step forward for our fleet, our business and the environment.
