Movember Month at Keece: Shining a Light on Men’s Health and Wellbeing
The month of November brings an important reminder — it’s time to focus on men’s health. During Movember month, men grow moustaches to raise awareness about mental health, prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and suicide prevention.
According to Movember, an organisation dedicated to improving men’s health, men are at higher risk of serious health issues. On average, men die six years earlier than women, and one in nine will be diagnosed with prostate cancer. Both testicular cancer and suicide remain leading causes of death among young men. Sadly, one man takes his life every minute around the world — a statistic that highlights why awareness and action are so important.

Many men avoid seeking help or regular checkups, often choosing silence over support. This hesitation can have life-threatening results. Together, we can change that trend by encouraging open conversations, early detection, and consistent care.
Keece team from across SA, VIC, NSW, QLD, and NZ has been raising awareness and funding for men’s health issues, such as cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention throughout November as part of the “Movember” campaign.
Please get on board and support Movember, let’s raises awareness about issues related to mental health and the prevention of suicide and take this opportunity to celebrate the fathers, brothers, sons, and friends in our life.
