This month, we celebrate a major milestone at Keece as our Queensland Director, Remzi Afacan, marks 15 incredible years with the team. His journey from apprentice to branch leader reflects dedication, hard work, and a clear vision of leadership.
Like any career, Remzi’s path has had challenges. However, he believes communication and adaptability make all the difference.
“The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that communication is key,” he shares. “It’s also important to have a good plan of attack and a few solutions ready if things don’t go to plan.”

Five years ago, Remzi helped establish Keece Queensland, transforming a small team into more than 25 passionate professionals.
“We worked hard to get it off the ground,” Remzi recalls. I’m so happy with how far we’ve come. Keece Qld is now well known in the industry, and we wouldn’t have gotten this far without the efforts of the team. We will continue to grow and achieve bigger and better things…”
His passion for growth and achievement continues to drive him forward.
“I’m proud of the client recognition we receive for our high standard of project delivery,” Remzi says. “I can’t wait to see where we’ll be in another 15 years.”
Central to Remzi’s leadership style is fostering a positive work environment where everyone feels valued and inspired. “At Keece Qld, we’ve built a team that people want to be part of,” he explains. “We’ve created a good work environment where everyone is treated equally, recognized for achieving goals, and given opportunities for growth.”
