Keece has operated a professional Melbourne based electrical contracting business for over eleven (11) years. Formed by current Director Mr Kabe Collins, the business initially focused activities supplying commercial electrical fittouts for retail and warehouse environments.  Kabe earned a reputation of a hard-working and efficient operator, able to put a great team around him and get the job done.

Mr Tayfun Sumer became a partner in the business, bringing on board his considerable years of experience and team. The focus for Keece remained electrical fittouts for retail and distribution warehouses, but the size and complexity of projects increased.

A designated service team was formed to meet the needs of a growing customer base.

The business led (no pun intended) the market and diversified into commercial LED lighting programs, energy efficiency and energy monitoring to meet the emerging market requirement.

Keece NSW was set up with an office in Kirrawee.

Operations set up and trading commenced in New Zealand.

Keece formed Vertex Solutions Australia Pty Ltd,  an Electrical Engineering Company specialising in Energy Management and Power Quality Solutions. Vertex has since been adopted and bought under the Keece banner and trading name.

Today the business has over twenty technicians and six apprentices. We also work closely with over 30 certified sub contracting organisations, in regional Australia and New Zealand. This network of contractors allows Keece to provide reactive and routine services to all corners of AU and NZ.

Our reactive maintenance team provides an SLA of 1 hour response time as required through to our standard 5 day SLA.

The projects department can manage you project requirements, from a lighting upgrade through to complete new facility installation.


Our cloud-based platform allows secure access and log in by Keece staff, technicians, partners and customers alike. Our job management system provides the following benefits to our customers:

  1. Clear view of asset performance, asset maintenance schedules and work performed.
  2. Mapping and geo-location stamping embedded into our work process, allowing our team to be fully accountable for time and service level agreements.
  3. 24 hour turn around time on all documentation and invoicing.


Keece have certified OHS, Environmental and Quality Policies.
