International Women's Day -

As we approach International Women’s Day (IWD) 2023, two themes have emerged as prominent: “Embrace equity”, the official IWD theme, and “Cracking the code” the theme set by the United Nations (UN).

Both themes aim to advance gender equity, and achieving this goal does not have a one-size-fits-all approach. While “Embrace Equity” takes a more holistic approach to addressing gender inequality, the “Cracking the code” focuses on a specific area where women are underrepresented.

At Keece, we actively promote equity and inclusivity across all areas of life. We encourage women from our communities to pursue careers in trades and help close the gender gap. These actions reflect the spirit of both themes. In our male-dominated industry, we continue to address systemic barriers and take concrete steps to support more women entering the field.

Regardless of which theme resonates most, both play a vital role in building an inclusive environment—one that empowers everyone to reach their full potential.
